Half of “Tyler Perry’s Doing Life” could be nearly entertaining in its absurdity if the remaining half weren’t equally objectionable. The latest project from the media mogul begins with a prison uprising where Anika, a pregnant corrections officer, faces imminent assault by detainees until an unnamed rescuer intervenes. Several months pass, and after Anika delivers her child, her rescuer—an incarcerated man named Carousel—initiates a written exchange with her. The two eventually connect in person after Carousel, who educated himself in legal matters, secures his own release from prison. Looking for something to watch? Flixtor Movies features a variety of movies and TV shows to choose from.
